A conference on "Education for Innovation in India, China and America" is being organized by Emory University and the India, China and America Institute. The conference will be held March 2-3, 2007 at the Emory Conference Center Hotel in Atlanta. The goal is to look at the evidence that innovation and ingenuity can in fact be taught, to explore the most effective educational strategies to promote these abilities, and to
identify the relationship between education for innovation and national competitiveness or economic development within the context of the India, China and U.S. experiences. An exceptional lineup of speakers will present papers on this timely topic. There will be a Friday evening reception at the Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University, which will includes a viewing of the exhibit "Domains of Wonder: Selected
Masterworks of Indian Painting."
Due to the generosity of our sponsoring organizations, the early registration fee for the conference is $95 (until January 31), with a limited number of student registrations at $25. This includes all sessions, lunches and snacks. The Friday evening reception is included with early/regular registration, $15 for students.
